NetWare 4 Compression and Suballocation Analysis

This archive contains the following files:

Space Saver Utility - SSAVER.EXE 

Estimates disk and RAM savings by implementing NetWare 4's 
compression and suballocation features and computes the costs 
and savings on a real system.  Runs on any DOS or OS/2 drive 
(including DOS, NetWare v3.x, LAN Manager and Microsoft Windows NT).

Analysis Spreadsheets 

Computes the costs and savings of using compression and 
suballocation on a NetWare 4 server.  Allows you to play "what 
if" given various criteria.

By inspecting the formulas, you can get a better idea of the 
relationships of volume size, directory entries, and block size 
in computing overall server RAM requirements.
